Being a Caregiver for My Dad
Seeing the brutal effects of dementia up close and personal as I cared for my dad while he quickly deteriorated from the disease has forever changed me in so many ways. The experience will always be in my heart and has made me more compassionate. He is now in heaven with his wife, my mom, and they are finally together again. It was no where near 'easy' but I am grateful for the opportunity and I hope I did him and the Divine proud.
